Live Olympic Skating At Your Fingertips – Ice Theatre in Newport, NJ

I was honored to be a VIP guest at a skating event at Newport Skates in Jersey City, NJ on Monday, January 19th, 2015 featuring a live performance by professional ice dancing group, Ice Theatre of New York. Here is the unedited video of the amazing leaps, twirls and ballet on ice so close to the audience that members could reach out and touch the performers – video is presented in chronological order.

Introduction by Kristin Ninko Egan, performance by eight year old Aiden Lee – Un Amor. Music by Gypsy Kings, choreographed by Craig Maurizi.

Professional skaters Valerie Levine and Matthew Thomas – self-choreographed Autrefois, music by Pink Martini.

Ilana Sherman – Someone Like You sung by Linda Eder, choreographed by Justin Dillon.

Triple US Figure Skating gold medalist Sally Jeanne Watkins – self-choreographed Heartbreaker, music by Pat Benatar

Professional skater Wesley Campbell – self-choreographed All of Me, music by John Legend.
