Superbowl, Puppies and Spending Time With Someone Truly Amazing

By Kathy Zucker • Wednesday, January 29, 2014

It all began with a tweet.

My inbox is crammed with expired coupons, news alerts and sale notices. But whenever an email pops up from Mediapost Engage:Moms, I make sure to read it no matter where I am.

The name Holly Pavlika has floated across my screen a bunch of times, but this time the article title really jumped out at me – “The Professional Mommy Blogger.” Intrigued, I clicked through immediately. And here is what I found.

Holly responded within seconds.

And from there we just started talking. And TALKING, adding in more people in a snowball effect.

Snowballs call for skating parties, right?

Everyone at the In Real Life (IRL) twitter chat was so engrossed with chatting, exchanging business cards and munching goodies that nobody wanted to leave, but we eventually made it down to the rink.

It was a simply amazing day, and I only fell once, meeting my personal goal. So when Holly invited me to go see puppies, of course I said yes!

I managed to avoid bringing one home, although it was close.

Kids are like dogs, right?

I am looking forward to my next adventure with Holly!
