Taking the Train to the Tree Lighting at NY Botanical Garden

The Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden is an annual tradition for my kids, ages 7, 5 and one. The show tends to be very crowded from opening day in November through the end of the year, with crowds tapering off before the show closes in January.

Last year, my family had an incredibly special private viewing of the train show thanks to a special event for MasterCard holders. This year, we were onstage with another MasterCard family as the kids were the Masters of Ceremony for the Christmas tree lighting.
