Hoboken Mom of the Week #1 – Naava Katz

By Kathy Zucker • September 23, 2013

One of my favorite things about living and working in Hoboken, NJ is all the amazing moms I meet. Every time I leave the house my husband reminds me, “Don’t stop and talk to people.” He knows that a seemingly quick trip to get the mail can turn into a two-hour excursion since I get engrossed by conversations with neighbors and visitors.

Naava Katz is an illustrator based in Hoboken who draws cartoons about life with her young family and dog. Her work has been published in Scholastic and by the NYC Ballet, but her claim to fame? Having her work featured on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

You can check out Naava’s cartoons at her website, www.Naavaonline.com, but my absolute favorite is below.

Pretty sure this is how my husband feels about my work.
