Joining the Ranks of Older Moms
I knew when we decided to have a third child that the pregnancy wasn’t going to be a walk in the park since I am over 35. However, I wasn’t prepared for just how complicated and stressful the experience was going to be. One bad blood test led to exhaustive testing and incessant phone calls from doctors and specialists who expected me to make lifechanging decisions on the spot.
Somehow, I felt all along that the baby was fine (helps that I have had two healthy pregnancies) and kept trying to fob off the extra testing. I was confident enough that I announced my pregnancy months ago on the HobokenMoms message board and on Facebook. Article at http://metromoms.net/?p=430
